Things have changed exponentially in the world since January of 2020. Now that things are beginning to move towards the new normal, it's important to adapt previous practices to the new way of living and marketing, specifically event marketing. Here are a few ways to help your marketing event be a success.
Virtual events
This seems like a no-brainer with the growing popularity of live-streamed events and ring central meetings. However, you can take a few extra steps to make your virtual event a memorable experience. If you have a yearly event, your guests may be missing a few of the perks, like event swag. You can send little care packages to attendees with some fun swag, balloons, and other small tokens of appreciation to help them get excited about the big event.
Hybrid Events
You may be ready to jump back into hosting in-person events with healthy/vaccinated guests, while other possible attendees may not be ready for such a big leap. They may be at-risk or still taking heavy caution but would still benefit from your event. This is an excellent opportunity to offer a hybrid event. It can cater to those who do not do well with virtual events and need in-person interaction, as well as keeping others who cannot attend in person safe.
Mini Events
Small events are a great way to re-integrate into event marketing. You can set up a small tour of events, keeping the guest list exclusive so that social distancing and local health guidelines are being obeyed. Small events are also a great way to make sure you interact with all of your attendees. At larger events, it's harder to make sure you've interacted with everyone there and explored every business opportunity.
Safety First
Following a global pandemic, while people are still ill and spreading the virus, it is important that safety measures are being followed. Following CDC and state and local guidelines is imperative to make sure you and all of your guests are safe at your event.
