Palm Harbor, FL – February 1, 2013 – Colleagues and management staff elected Brandon Wallace as Winn Technology Group’s Employee of the Year for 2012.
As Winn’s IT Manager, Wallace is responsible for network security, network design and implementation, server configuration and installation, and desktop management for over 120 users. His position requires extraordinary technology skills and a deep understanding of Winn’s business goals and client needs.
2012 was a challenging year for Winn in meeting the complex security protocols of a major client, the JPMorgan Order-to-Pay Network. Winn underwent (and passed with flying colors) two major security audits by the JPM Security team. Brandon was instrumental in installing and configuring the appropriate hardware and software and developing communication and practice guidelines to ensure the safety of our clients’ digital and tangible property.
Brandon has been employed at Winn since 2004 and has earned numerous technical certifications such as A+, CompTia Net+, MCSE, and MOUS. He is a life-long learner who began his IT career at the age of 13 when he started taking apart, repairing, and rebuilding computers. He was previous employed at Raymond James Financial as an IT Specialist.
